Having always been a creative and Renaissance soul, I struggled to balance the line between society’s expectations or being liked versus who I really was. This led to my passion for understanding what motivates us as people and how we can build our confidence to be who we really are, regardless of what others expect of us.
I ended up completing a Psychology degree from Simon Fraser University, as well as over 15 years of personal development workshops and certifications. During this time, I also worked in the Human Resources and Career Development profession in tech, film, VFX, and Animation for over 10 years (all super fun industries!), but I always felt like something was missing. So, I reconnected to my inner child and remembered she was always writing and illustrating books. Throughout the years, I was always writing songs, poetry, and in journals as well. This inspired me to reignite my passion for the written word, so I published four self-help books (more on the way!) to inspire people to live a more meaningful life that aligns with their values.
I encountered great successes with my books. They became Amazon #1 Bestsellers, sometimes raking in 5 figures a month! I participated in several amazing collaborations with companies I loved, was featured in articles all about living Cozy, and best of all, received so much love, support, and beautiful feedback from my readers who were inspired by what I wrote.

I found the writing and publishing process to be incredibly creative, cathartic, and freeing, and I wanted to share this gift with others so they too, could share their stories with the world. In addition to my writing, I now also host an annual writers retreat with the Cosmic Doulas, and offer services in content writing, editing, and book publishing coaching. Need some guidance? I dabble in tarot card readings using my many years in HR and personal development for a practical approach.

I want everyone to have the confidence, freedom, and inspiration to unapologetically pursue their dreams because we all deserve to shine and leave our mark on this planet, free from our fears and limiting beliefs. I want to teach others to see the world more openly and to embrace their inner weird—no matter how it shows up. I believe in self-reflection because to understand each other better, we need to understand and work on ourselves first. And to change the world collectively, we need to start individually. This is what I love to write about.
All the way from the land of Vikings and delicious pastries, I was born in the tiny city of Nykøbing Falster, Denmark, and later moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, where I now live. I have a deep connection to animal causes, and a dream to support and contribute greatly to these charities in order to help all creatures great and small have shelter, love, and a voice. A portion of the proceeds of my book, Charlie the Cat, will be donated to animal welfare causes.
