How to make your book stand out

Okay, I see you.

You’re worried that there are

“too many books already written about your topic.” 😫

So, how can you make yours BETTER?

Here’s a tip!  ➡️

  1. Go to Amazon.com
  2. Search for books similar to yours. The higher the review count, the better content for you to work with.
  3. Read the 1, 2 and 3-star reviews.
  4. Use the negative comments to make your book BETTER by addressing them.

Examples:

Amazon review: “This book was useless to me. It was CLEARLY written by a single person who doesn’t have kids or responsibilities.”

Your book: If you ARE a single person living alone, include perspectives or options for people with families.

Amazon review: “All the author did was talk about themselves. This wasn’t helpful at all.”

Your book: Add practical tips or action items. Readers like to learn how to apply concepts to their own lives.

Of course, don’t get all obsessive about it. Your book should come from your own heart and mind. You can’t please everyone. Stay authentic and enjoy the process!
